How to Join Pak Army After Matric?
Do you want to become a General, a Major, or a Captain, whether in the Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Army, or Pakistan Navy?
To join any of these three forces, what do you need to study, which tests do you have to pass, and which institutions do you need to get admission into? I will explain everything to you today. This video will be around 3 to 4 minutes long, so please watch it completely to understand everything properly.
How to Join the Pak Army?
First, in Matric, try not to opt for Arts subjects. If you aspire to become a Captain, Major, Colonel, or General and share similar ambitions, dreams, and outlook, then consider avoiding the Arts. What should you do instead? Choose subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Math, Biology, or Computer Science in Matric, and aim to get good marks of at least 70%, and ideally up to 95%. But your goal should always be to score 95%.
Once you’ve completed Matric with good marks, the next step is FSC Intermediate. There’s no need to pursue the Faculty of Arts (FA), as that field is somewhat distinct. You can opt for FSC Pre-Medical, FSC Pre-Engineering, or ICS with Physics or Computer Science. I’m suggesting these so that you can achieve higher goals. So, these are the four to five courses you can choose in FSC.
In the Second Year, try to maintain at least 70% marks, but it’s important to aim for 90%. It’s not compulsory to get exactly 90%, but do not go below 70%.
After the Second Year comes a test known as the PMA Long Course. The age requirement for this course is 17 to 22 years. You must have a minimum of 60% marks even 1% less than 60% will disqualify you from applying for PMA.
To Join Pak Army As a Captain, Apply Now. Once you visit the website, you have to apply online. After applying, your initial test will be conducted. This includes a written test covering English, Math, General Knowledge, and other subjects.
Then comes your physical test, in which you must run 1.6 kilometers in 8 minutes. You also need to complete 15 push-ups and other physical activities. This means your fitness should be decent, do some gym training, play sports, and ensure you can do push ups, chin ups, and other required tasks.
After that comes the medical test, where your height, chest, body fitness, and any physical paralysis issues are examined. These are all part of the PMA course tests conducted after the Second Year.
Once you clear these stages and your medical test, the most important part is the preparation for ISSB. Yes, now you need to prepare for the ISSB. ISSB is a bit difficult, but not impossible. I won’t say it’s impossible because the word “impossible” itself says, “I’m possible.”
So, start preparing for the ISSB test, which lasts for four to five days. Books are available for ISSB preparation, some by Dogar Publishers, and some officially from the Army. You can also join different academies for preparation, or prepare through YouTube. I also upload some lectures, especially focusing on Mathematics, where I solve cadet-level questions and past paper problems.
Once your ISSB test is done, the next step is a physical fitness plan. After that, a psychiatrist and a psychologist will assess your mindset and behavior. They evaluate your mental capacity, your personality type, and more.
Based on the tests and your performance, you can proceed toward the force you applied for, whether that’s the Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Navy, or Pakistan Army. This is the basic concept of how you can rise from the bottom to the top.
Now let me tell you one general thing most people don’t even know about this process. They think a General comes from India or Afghanistan! No, the General is from Pakistan. Our Army Chief is also from Pakistan. The problem is that we don’t take an interest in passing entry or physical tests. If we fail a medical test, we give up.
So you must try to give the ISSB test. Everyone should apply, attempt ISSB, CSS, PMS, and test their capabilities to see how competent they are.
